    This year’s parade theme of Live-Work-Play Truckee! celebrates everyone in our community that enjoys life in the mountains every day or when visiting. Parade starts at the corner of 89S and Donner Pass Road and travels 1.25 miles into Downtown Truckee, ending at the corner of Bridge and Church Streets. The Truckee Donner Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner and Pandora’s Auction held October 29, 2013 at The Resort at Squaw Creek was a great success. With over 250 people in attendance, it was an evening of fun, entertainment and recognition of their peers.

Awards were presented to recognize local businesses or members who have exemplified outstanding involvement in the community and its issues, those who have contributed significantly to our economy and local labor market, or have shown staying power and growth in our business community.

These upcoming townhalls are co-sponsored by State Senators Ted Gaines and Jim Nielsen and Assemblymembers Brian Dahle and Dan Logue.

During the call, we'll discuss the latest fire “fee” news, including the lawsuit and pending legislation, and answer questions from callers.
