Chamber Awarded Economic Development Grant

Chamber Awarded Economic Development Grant

The Chamber was recently awarded a grant for two related projects. The first is to work with the lodging industry on the creation of a Tourism Business Improvement District (TBID). The second project is for an integrated place-based marketing and brand campaign.

The Truckee Donner Chamber’s Annual Awards Dinner and Pandora’s Auction held October 29, 2013 at The Resort at Squaw Creek was a great success. With over 250 people in attendance, it was an evening of fun, entertainment and recognition of their peers.

Awards were presented to recognize local businesses or members who have exemplified outstanding involvement in the community and its issues, those who have contributed significantly to our economy and local labor market, or have shown staying power and growth in our business community.
